    Local Calendars with ical
    Hi guys,

I'm new to Macs having just bought an imac. I have loads of questions but 1 is quite important......

How can I have several local user accounts using ical, ie me, the wife and daughter be able to see each others calendar? Inotherwords i need seperate user accounts but 1 family calendar which we can all see from within each account.

I hope we can do this as I am really impressed so far.

    Jim (from UK!!)

Welcome to the Forum. How about getting yourself a Google calendar for the Family one and have iCal on each of the Macs suscribed to the Google calendar. Also i would suggest you check out BusyCal it has a few more neat features and will use iCal data source so is a good fit.
Download BusyCal for Mac - Share calendars on a LAN and sync with Google Calendar. MacUpdate Mac Software Downloads
