Hi!

I am currently teaching English in South Korea. For one of my advanced adult classes I want to take excerpts from some podcasts and mp3's of a talk radio show, and burn them as individual tracks on a CD.

I tried using garageband to cut and paste the sections I wanted, but found the process tedious and difficult. I've given up on garageband for this function.

Can anyone offer a suggestion on what program I should use?

You can use Audacity for removing excerpts from audio recordings. It's open source and free for use.

Regards.

I've said it before, and it bears repeating, that the best audio extractor or recorder is WireTap WireTap Studio | Ambrosia Software, Inc. - but it isn't free.

I'm leaving now to go and find myself. If I should return before I get back, please ask me to wait.
