Every once and a while I have disk images for google gears and google earth opening and then closing. (i have hidden files set to be showing)

I also don't have the disk image files for these on my computer... so I don't know where, why or how these are randomly popping up.

anybody else ever experienced stuff like this? is this a google thing that is checking for updates or something?

very weirded out by this.
QUOTE Thanks
