Do I need anti virus software?

Best Virus Software

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
In the Windows world, most everything folks don't understand is called a virus.

Wrong as the AV software will bloat and slow your Mac down. Best prevention of any nasties is sage browsing practices, no pirates, no porn and no allowing codecs to load. And there are still no OS X viri.

Not that harry means it's better being sorry than safe. It's just that you're already safe without anti-virus software, and probably would be sorry with it. So, as you say, it's better being safe than sorry...
