Ok So i just wanna make sure my mac is running ok and that i got no rubbish files hanging around

so i went on apple downloads and in there top downloads is cleanmymac

i was thinkin bout downloading this and giving it a shot but can anyone recomend any other programs ?

Avoid CleanMyMac like the plague as it will slow down your Mac. Drag it to the Trash and go into Go > Computer > Hard Drive Name > Users > Your user name > Library > Application Support and drag to the Trash CleanMyMac files. it installs things called CleanMyMacHelper.Tool which will slow down your boot time. This application has appeared before on the forums ~ just do a search here and also on Google, here is one starter:-

As toMACsh says, Onyx or Main Menu version 1.7.4 which is free.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
