    funky display font problem
Can anyone explain why mac mail and my internet browser replace my default viewing font with this ridiculous font? I have changed my default fonts to no avail. Changed encoding to no avail.

    Thanks for any insight.

I suspect you have a corrupt font there, though it's odd that it's taken over.
Try Fontnuke: :: FontNuke - A FREE tool for removing font cache files on Mac OS X

It may sort it, but you may have to manually search it out in your font book and discard it.
