Hey guys, my friend asked me to ask you about this issue, it's regarding Time Machine. He's saying that his Time Machine won't restore his important files like his iCal calendar or his iTunes library. He has fully updated the computer to the latest versions, but still isn't able to do it. What is the problem here?

Have him check to see if he didn't exclude these files when he set up his TM . I know it sounds silly but people do the strangest things in the name of hdd space.

Also, is your friend going through the restore process correctly? This article might help. Especially the restore section ATPM 15.03 - How To: Time Travel: Introduction to Time Machine
