iPhone icons in Mac dock?
Is there a way to transform the dock on the mac to look like an iphone? I think it could be cool if the mac dock had iphone icons in the dock. Is there a way to do this?

- Specs:
- Mac Pro, Power Mac G4, iMac G3, iPhone 3GS
There are a lot of things out there to help you customize your Dock, but be warned, if something goes wrong, it can trash the Dock. This will render a major part of your Macintosh's UI rather broken

Well if you keep a backup of your dock application. That application can be found in:
/System/Library/CoreServices
And make sure you keep the copy of the dock application somewhere safe and not in anything related to the system. Then if you screw up your dock all you hace to do is rename the copy to "Dock" and replace the screwed one with the healthy copy.

A nice and easy to edit your dock is:
http://www.dativestudios.com/docklibrary/
and then get dock styles from:
http://www.leoparddocks.com/index.php
You can manually install docks from leopard docks website or you can use the dock library to do it for you.

Making ur mac look like its an iOS device
Hi,
For anyone who wants to make their mac look like its an iOS device u can follow these simple steps, there is no chance this will effect ur operating system and mess with ur mac. U will always be able to restore the default icons later.
This tweak intends to replace all the default icons with iOS style icons, you can use the same method to change ur icon interfaces to many other types of themes.
First, download candybar this app will enable u to apply any icon package, u find on the internet available for mac.
Then on ur web browser go to Iconfactory : Home this site is full of icons that u will be able to apply to ur mac or pc.
find flurry system
download the package for candybar
once the download is complete open candybar by double clicking on the package or drag the icons to the candybar window if u downloaded the apple package.
Apply the icons by pressing "Use these icons" or by draging them manually if the option is not there.
Once u have applied the icons it will ask to either relaunch the dock or logout.
Once this is done all the apps u have changed will look like the image above.

I kinda thought that is what Launchpad does unless I am misunderstanding something.
