Basic pages question

Does anyone know if there's a way to get a dash in Pages? In Word, if you hit hyphen twice -- and continue to type it turns into a dash, but I can't find how to do this in Pages; anyone know?

Pressing option + shift + - (minus key) creates a dash in pages.
If I'm not confusing a dash with something else.

Dash/hyphen: - (hyphen key, just to left of Equal sign)

EN Dash (between numbers): Option + -

EM DASH (break in sentence): OPTION + SHIFT + -
