Newbie - hope this is appropriate forum . . . I like to play a game that's on a magazine website. It runs fine most of the time, but occasionally starts slowing down, movements get jerky, until I have to quit the site, go back on it, and then runs fine again. Happens only occasionally. The game continues to run when I shut off the modem, so must be all within the computer. Any ideas for cause/fix? (iMac with Intel processor - I think - and Snow Leopard)

It's probably a Flash-based game. Flash does not run well with OS X, and there's no way around it.
