Aperature 2 - app disappeared

Hi I purchased and loaded aperature 2 about 2 weeks ago (typical and now 3 is out) and tried to find it on my imac and mac book pro and they have both disappeared!!

i run os 10.5.8

any suggestions as I seem to think that i registered any everything.

Oh yeah, just to make it harder I tried a reinstall and the instructions said the serial number is on the how to install booklet which i cannot find. of course, i have the black bo it all came in, the disc, a little foldout of "take your photos to new places, another folder of keyboard shortcuts,and a thicker book of exploring aperature.

this whole purchase has been a disaster and now this!! how can i get the serial number will i call mac??

I plugged my camera into the mac and aperature came up automatically and now its back in my APPs also which is wasnt before.

Really weird.
