How do I make torrents start and stop at certain times

I'm looking for a way to make torrents start at say 4am and the close at 8am

But not sure how to do it. Any ideas?

The torrent client has to support it. Or I suppose if your router has some advanced controls you could do it that way too.

Sorry, didn't realize that only the PC version has that feature. There's a workaround involving Automator but it's simply easier to just use Transmission since that one has a built in scheduler.

Go to Preferences --> Bandwidth and look under Speed Limit mode. You can set a schedule to use the Speed Limit feature, in your case it would be set to 0KB/s between 8AM and 4AM
