Mac Specs: Mid-2011 MBP 13" i5

Since I have installed Tiger, quicktime 7 freezes any time I try and play streaming media files from apple's website (or any site for that matter). The updates didnt seem to help nor did repairing disk permissions. Anyone else experiencing this problem? I have reinstalled the os by doing a clean install.I am rebooting more times on my g5 than my old windows box. Embarrasing actually...
QUOTE Thanks
