iTunes doesn't start

IBook with latest OSX (tiger) and updated iTunes. When I start iTunes it only "dances" in the dock and then nothing happens. What can I do to find out what is wrong?

You could try reverting to a previous version of iTunes Download Apple iTunes for Mac - Play & buy music, videos, TV shows & burn CDs. MacUpdate Mac Software Downloads or using OnyX Titanium Software (v1.8.6), repair Permissions and run maintenance scripts.ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
