How to Customize iCal 2.0.5 on Tiger OS X 10.4.11?

I would like to know how to customize iCal in the following ways:
1. Move the weekly squares to the top of the calendar each week in the month mode. For example, Feb. 1-7 is at the top of the calendar print out during this week, and Feb. 8-14 is at the top of the calendar during this week, etc.
2. Print out the monthly calendar with black text on a white background in the squares.
Right now, I'm getting black text on a black background, which is hard to read.
Thanks for any tips.
