Converting movie to widescreen with visualhub?

I want to convert a movie i downloaded with visualhub to widescreen so it can be clearer on my tv. What pixels/crop size should i use?

Whether the video is clear or grainy on your TV has nothing whatsoever to do with the aspect ratio of the video.

Playing a 480x270 (16:9) video full screen on your 1080p TV will look just as bad as playing a 480x360 (4:3) video.

You downloaded a low resolution video and there's not a whole lot you can do that is going to make it a high resolution video.
