Safari issues

Safari runs up 97% CPU usage and freezes up when running a simple and small animated gif in a 2nd tab.

is this the nature of the beast or what

2GB RAM

What's in the first Tab, anything demanding? Something involving Flash? Use a different browser like Camino (lightweight), or FireFox, to try and replicate the problem.

FF seems better only 24%


no flash, flash is even WORSE
