Hi folks, I came across this site selling cheap MAC software. Best Software - greatest-software.net

Has anyone had any dealings with this company and could they recommend them?

Thanks

Oooooo, that's very naughty. Illegal downloads by the look of it. You have to question the prices for a start, and then it says dowwnload now, when all of this software comes boxed with discs. AVOID!

Read the About Us on their web page. Not to be snarky, but the English text used is, at best - amateur, at worst - bumbling. I'd say you're looking at a suspect outfit, and you use at your own risk.

There was a recent post about another similar shop from where a member bought some software, but the license key stopped working shortly after the purchase and needless to say they had to get in touch with this shady company to figure it out..not sure what the resolution was..

But comparing the two websites, the prices look very similar, 90-90% off from Adobe software which is just utterly unrealistic, regardless of what they say about buying bulk licenses and all that..

It's a scam, only buy from reputable places that charge what the software really costs..

DO not let it upset you Kevriano. We all get negative feedback from time to time. Seems like some folks prime time amusement is to can others. IMHO you posts are always spot on.

Ditto to Harry's advice - and comment. √

This highlights a serious flaw in the Rep system, ie. it gives someone with a particular axe to grind, or some negative view of another's life preferences, to "have a go".

Mate - you're alright!

Yeah, don't worry about it. We have a tree hugger around that doesn't like my "Save a Tree. Eat a beaver" slogan either. I say, "(well, I can't actually say what I say in the forum)". I'll probably get another for saying tree hugger too.

I cannot be held responsible for the things that come out of my mouth.
