    linux software and mp3s?
    Hay guys,

How much linux style software can you compile on the macOS terminal? Can I install things like irssi etc??

Also, winamp for macos? Or is there a better mp3 player?

    Specs:
    2 x 3.0GHz Quad-Core, 6GB OS X 10.6.8 | 15in MacBook Pro 2.2GHz OS X 10.6.8 | 64GB iPad 2 WiFi
    Cool
You wouldn't find winamp for Mac OS X, because Apple has iTunes. From what I have in most cases Apple's Itunes jukebox is better than windows winamp.

As for the unix style software. If you have the required compiler, you show be able to load and compile anything that is availble for OS X.
