Garageband 09 problem

Member Since: Dec 31, 2009 Posts: 2	12-31-2009, 06:15 AM I have had my mac book for a few years and had an older version of garageband. my brother has a newer macbook with garageband 09 so I copied the new app across. The problem is that the new electric guitar features don't work at all. when I click new track and try to open a new electric guitar track it just opens a real instrument track. Does anyone know why these features aren't working or how I can make them work? I really want them to record guitar onto my computer.
