This guide pretty much says it all. Make sure you have Gmail configured for POP and not IMAP (on the Gmail site itself).
Configure Mail for Gmail POP access - Mac OS X Hints Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics! |

I was actually going to ask the same question, but to each his/her own, I guess...
