Macbook pro 13 gaming without Windows

I am considerng buying a macbook pro 13 and i unerstand that when using windows the gaming performance is good enough on most games.
i am just wondering, on the games that are avaliable on mac, when i play them on the mac os, will they run just as well?

As long as it meets the requirements for the game, it will work perfectly fine. I play COD4 all the time and have no complaints.

Cheers, do u have the basic spec MacBook pro 13? And also is there any hope of connecting an xbox controller to it to play?
