It had a .jar file, which meant it would work for my mac. so i clicked run.jar my jar launcher launched and the client opened and started running. a few minuets later as i am playing it freezes and quits unexpectedly, this happens on ALL .jar files i do.

Let's run it from the command line to see if it spits out any errors. Open up Terminal (/Application/Utilities/) and type the following:
Code:
java -jar <path to jar file>
For instance, if a jar file named jarfile.jar was on my desktop, I would type:
Code:
java -jar ~/Desktop/jarfile.jar
(~ is shorthand for your home directory).

That directory doesn't make any sense - you have /Users/andrew/Desktop twice. Try simply:
Code:
java -jar ~/Desktop/HydraV7.jar
