My InDesign and Illustrator will not open. Photoshop will open but nothing else. I came into work today and they wont open. I am on a G5 running Leopard.
this is the error message I am getting when I try and open them.
I need help guys and gals, I can't get anything done at work without these programs.
EDIT: now the computer wont start at all and I get a turn signal clicking noise and the blinking question mark/finder folder. please help, I can't get anything done at work!

Have you got the leopard disks or the disks that came with that G5
You will need to start up from an optical disk. Once you get to the install screen, choose Disk utility from the menu bar and run a disk repair and then a permissions repair.

well we tried that it is didn't show the harddrive, and that is also where the clicking is coming from.

Then, I am afraid it sounds like a dying or dead drive.
You could check the connections to the drive, some people have also got a disk temporary back by freezing it and putting it back in gain.

update, it was the hard drive. we had to end up getting a new one and reformatting it and uploading all the software again. lost about three days of work time.....lame.
