Yes and no. It depends what torrent sites you are downloading from, and it also depends on what torrents you are downloading.

Transmission is the app of choice available from versiontracker.com. Most torrents are fine from torrentz or isohunt but you in the ""back of beyond" so as to speak so tread carefully
