Thread: Growl - How Do I Get Rid of It?
10-22-2009, 05:14 PM #1Growl - How Do I Get Rid of It?
I don't really have a use for the program and I thought that I'd got rid of it, but I'm getting (daily) notification of an update for it.
So, how do I eliminate it from my machine?
In simple terms, please.

Bummer, Growl is very handy - many apps integrate with it to send you notifications (for example, Growl will pop up alerts when you're using Adium, which is an IM program). If you didn't purposely install it, it was probably installed as a component of another software program that relies on it.Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
