    firefox froze now can't shut down
    my firefox froze and now i can't shut down my mac because it says i have to close firefox first. the red x circle is not appearing, and i can't quit firefox either. any suggestions? thanks in advance.

    Specs:
    iMac 2010 27" QuadI7 OSX10.11, iMac 2008 OSX10.11, MBP Late2011OSX10.11 , iPad Air, iPhone 3GS
    You can either click on the Apple Menu and click on Force Quit or Press Command + Option + Escape simultaneously. Click on Firefox in that menu and on Force Quit.

    thank you very much. new to mac (or returning after 15 years) and still learning all the key strokes and features.
