Hey all
so i've had this problem for an hour or so, where an advert pops up on every single website i go onto. This includes google and apple, where i've never seen a single advert...

its just a banner ad that pops up, with various context in it and a small 'x' with which i can close it. this happens in firefox as well as in safari..

anyone know whats wrong and how i could fix it?

thanks

Have you selected Block Pop Up Windows in Safari and Firefox Preferences?

Under Preferences in Safari and Firefox go to Preferences > Content and select Block Pop Up Windows.

i did some searching, and it appears its a malware ad from videoegg or something, quite a few people have had this issue, but they're all windows..

is there a possible fix for Mac ?
