Just got my first mac... (13" pro)
Anyways im looking for the same bar as in 3 for my non-beta 4 in SL. Can any of you mac masters help me out ? I know i could just run firefox and get the plugin. However, in the spirit of trying a new system id like to rock safari... A huge high five to the one who gives me the bandaid!! |

Nah, it doesn't work anymore. It doesn't return a error to std out either. I think the values simply aren't available to be manipulated anymore. Even sudo'ed or su'ed to root, the binary containing the values remains untouched. There was a bit about running "defaults write com.apple.Safari IncludeInternalDebugMenu -bool YES" to re-enable changing the values, but it doesn't appear to work either.

Hmmm...despite all attempts to find a solution on the internet and look through Safari's plist files, I can't seem to find anything that will revert Safari's "loading bar". You might be out of luck here.
