sharing iCal calendar via email?

I would like to send a month or two of my iCal calendar to someone via email.

Yes I can print it out month by month.

But how would you share a month filled in with your schedule via email with someone? Can you turn an iCal month, months, or year into a .doc, .pdf, or .pages?

The easiest way to do this would be to choose File → Print and then Continue. In the next window that opens, click the PDF button at the bottom left and then choose Save as PDF or even Mail PDF directly. This will allow you to save what would normally print out as a PDF, which you can then send through email.

Note that you can do this from any application that allows you to print; it's a very handy feature of OS X.
