i know, interesting title but it's true.

i go to edit - spell checking (click it) and it's not spell checking anything. i've never messed with it, it just randomly stopped. i've reset safari, cache, etc etc etc.

why do i always get the problems that no one has heard of! if you know a way to fix this, it would be greatly appreciated if you can share your info, otherwise i'll be tpynig lkie tihs wtih no one telling me it's wrong.

Not knowing what etc etc etc involves, I'll suggest a corrupt plist file might be the culprit. This one: com.apple.Safari.plist

Did you try to fix that also? How about logging in from a different account??
