iCal icon doesn't stay in dock

For the last month or so my iCal icon has been disappearing from my dock (on 3 different macs) and I haven't been able to find any solution. Has anyone had the same problem?

I suspect it has something to do with the fact that I synchronize 3 computers and an iPhone through MobileMe/.mac although I haven't had any trouble with the appointments, etc. showing up accurately on all devices.

Any ideas?

Since I don't do the sync thing or have Mobile-Me, you might be on to something.
