Hi, I have a PowerMac G5 tower with 2GB of RAM and I have updated my OS to 10.5.1 with Final Cut Pro HD 4.5 installed. - Now.. here are my questions.

Has anyone encountered an issue when trying to use the Compressor?

Everytime I try and export using the Compressor it says:

"Cannot Sumbit Batch -
Unable to connect to background process"

...uhhh, what does that even MEAN?!

well, I am thinking that my version of compressor needs an update, but I'm not exactly a mac genius.

Has anyone else ran into a problem with Final Cut Pro and A PowerMac G5?

PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!
