Why can't I detach audio in iMovie?

I just recorded the clip with the iSight camera but it won't let me detach the audio. Any ideas?

Thanks I appreciate the response. But I'm looking to use iMovie and discover why this feature isn't working and what I'm doing wrong (as usually these problems are user error).
