So I bought a macbook unibody 13" on January 24th 2009 [this year] and it turns out the store I bought it from gave me a late 2008 model with iLife 08. Is there any way I can have Apple send me iLife 09 without me having to buy it since I'm SUPPOSED to get it when buying in 2009. If anyone has a solution let me know please! Thanks!

You were not SUPPOSED to get it because iLife 09 had not yet been released on the date you bought your MacBook, so it couldn't have been installed on it at the time.

It was released only 3 days later though. The time to have called Apple about it would have been then, not waiting until 7 months later.

However, with Apple I'm surprised time after time again what they are willing to do for their customers. Call them and ask. You might be surprised also. Worst case, they say no.

Haha thanks. Yes I realize I'm extremely late but it's not such a huge thing you know? I'm just really curious and who knows, if I get iLife 09 free that would be awesome =]. Thanks though!
