DNS settings problem when connecting my XBox via ethernet

I have been reading about connecting my Xbox 360 via ethernet aaaaallllllll day and have given it a go. I have changed all the settings as per the many posts online regarding this and I keep coming across the same stumbling block every time. The Network test fine and says connected, however when testing the internet phase of connection, a message comes up saying DNS problem, please check you manual DNS settings. I am entering the same DNS as my airport IP but the same error pops up everytime. I am using a Belkin router if that helps. Any ideas? |
