Hello All,

I use a macbook pro. I have recently shifted my web accounts emails ids to google apps.

I can send and receive emails using the web but am unable to send emails thru imail, although i can receive.

I keep getting this error message -

Cannot send message using the server smtp.gmail.com
The sender address snv@abc.com was rejected by the server smtp.gmail.com.
Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be delivered.

Please help. Thanks in advance.

You have to enable IMAP in the Settings/Forwarding and POP/IMAP section of you Google Apps Gmail account. Also, there is a Configuration guide at:

Supported IMAP client list - Gmail Help

to help you with configuring your version of iMail to correctly retrieve and send email. I use Google Apps and receive/send from iMail on my Mac. It can work.
