Text to Speech Software

Leopard sees the introduction of Alex in its Text to Speech software (does it have a name?) and it's high quality but American. As a Brit I would like my novel to be read back to me in English tones. It is possible to import other voices into the software from independent manufacturers? If so, how is it done? Acapela has one called Graham which would suit me.

Maybe we should wait until Snow leopard

Otherwise try contacting apple to ask for a new British voice (Stephen Fry would get my vote)

Don't forget the 'Down Under' Mac users

although Steven Fry would be better than the US ones we have..
