So I had my sister run a permissions repair to try and solve her problem, but the one account she uses still can't open iphoto. All other accounts can...

Ideas? Mini is running leopard (I assume the latest version - same for iphoto).

"Something along the lines of 'You do not have permission to use iPhoto because it is locked, on a locked disk, or you do not have sufficient privileges.'"

Open Disk Utility in /Applications/Utilities and repair permissions by clicking "Repair Disk Permissions", under the "Macintosh HD" column.

Try opening Terminal and typing:

Code:
sudo chmod -R 777 /Applications/iPhoto
If that errors out, do:

Code:
sudo chmod -R 777 /Applications/iPhoto.app

Right click on the iPhoto icon (In Finder, not the dock) and click Get Info. Scroll to the bottom of the window, and on the bottom-right, there is a little lock icon. Click it and type her password. Make sure everything in that table on the bottom says "Read and write". A couple sections above, there is a checkbox that says "Locked", make sure that is unchecked.
