How to disable automatic updates: Office 2008?
I've looked through the preferences; cannot find an option to disable automatic updates from being installed in Office 2008. (updates came in last night and really screwed things up) Did some searching and found something suggested for mucking about with commands in Terminal which is not my forte, so rather not. Is there an easy solution? |

Silly me, found it!
Check for software updates automatically
If you don't want AutoUpdate to appear automatically when new updates are available, under How would you like to check for software updates?, select Manually. |
