Hi guys!

I've done a forum search and didn't find what i wanted, so I thought I'd make a new thread.

I just got my new Macbook Pro and naturally i got office for mac 2008.
It looks uncomfortably different from the Windows version that I'm using for school assesments etc. Is there a setting or skin that I can use to make my Word, Powerpoint and Excel look as if they are running the windows version?

Thanks for your time!
Eden

I doubt you'll ever be able to do that, let alone I can't get around why on earth you'd want to! If you really want to use Office just like it is in XP, bootcamp Windows XP, or just use a program like CrossOver Mac.

Windows office is what I've been using for yeaaaaaaaaaarrrrrsssss, so I'm naturally super accustomed to it. Also, the things that I'm taught how to do at school, have a fairly different method on the mac version at home.

I'm going to bootcamp Vista for gaming reasons. But having office in my bootcamp is too much hassle for doing my everyday work in office.

Thanks for replying!

Then I recommend CrossOver for Mac, much easier for you and it'll install Office direct into Leopard.

I'm not too keen to pay for it. And couldn't see a torrent, but I've found one for Parallells, so I'll get that and put my windows office on there. Or learn where everything is on the mac office.

You have been a good help. Thankyou for your time

..And we're not too keen on people who use torrents to steal software here.
