Hi;

I have installed Windows XP Pro using Bootcamp and when installing multi CD games after the first CD is installed it is not ejecting automatically.
Is this a bootcamp XP issue?
Apart from switching to Windows during the install and using Eject CD is there any other way of fixing this issue.

TVM

Hi there,

I have the same problem. I get a failure notice after installing windows xp and the only thing I can do is restart installing, and while using F3 I return to the failure notice - the CD would not eject and I cannot restart my mac at all. your help would be much appreciated. thank you.

Looks like we got no help with this post?!?!?!

Your problem is slightly different, may I assume you have not yet installed Windows XP and at the end of the install you are getting a failure message?

Have a look on this forum there is a STICKY I think on preparing for and installing Windows XP. What version are you trying to install?

There is a way to force eject a CD by switching on and holding down a key again its on here somewhere.

I read up on it first and had no problems.

Let me know.
