My windows computer just died on me recently and have since decided to go and buy a MacBook Pro.

Now. I have all my music from my windows computer on my iPod (configured for Windows). I was wondering how do I transfer the music on my iPod to iTunes on my MB?

No legal way of doing so. Do you not have backups anywhere?

This would be your best bet, note that I have not used this software.

I do not have a backup anyway. It's only on my dead computer and my iPod.

Thanks. I'll make a note of this in case I find something else.

I'm thinking that my other alternative would to buy an external hard drive and take it along with my iPod to a friends house and try and put the music from my iPod onto the external drive, then I can simply copy the music from the drive to my mac.

Don't you need the iTunes Library on your dead computer? If the hard disk still works, then it probably contains the library, plug it into your MacBook or any other Windows computer and work it out.

Use those two links, might help you:
