If I sort by "From" in Mail.app, and type a letter to jump to entries starting with that letter, it jumps to that letter in the "Subject" column. Similarly, if I sort by "Subject" and type a letter, it jumps to that letter in the "From" column.

I'm on Leopard and using Mail.app v3.6. I've tried on other computers and it works as intended (jumps to entries in the same column that I'm sorting by.)

If I sort by "Date Received" and type a letter, it picks completely randomly whether to jump to the "From" column or the "Subject" column.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
QUOTE Thanks
