Apologies if it's been posted before.

Here are the system requirements for the Sims 3.

FOR MAC

*Mac OS X 10.5.7 Leopard or higher
*Intel Core Duo Processor
*2 GB RAM
*6.1 GB free hard drive space, with at least 1 GB additional space for custom content and saved games
*ATI X1600 or Nvidia 7300 GT with 128 MB of Video RAM, or Intel Integrated GMA X3100

I have the late 2008 (i think) white 13" Macbook. 2.1 GHZ, 1GB RAM.

Will this game work on my laptop?
QUOTE Thanks

You don't seem to meet the RAM requirements of the game.

You could upgrade your RAM though to play, and you seem to meet the other requirements of the game!

i'm not allowed to upgrade the RAM, even tho I'd love to.
I get my laptop from college, borrowing it from them yet paying at the same time. I am going to upgrade it as soon as this laptops fully mine though.

Thanks

another question, would the game just not work at all, or would it just run slowly? and would it damage my laptop by playing the game that uses so much RAM? Thanks again!

Honestly, how would they even know you've upgraded it? Just hold on to your old RAM in case they need to check it out. It's a quick swap and RAM is fairly cheap these days.

BTW, picked up my copy of Sims 3 today on my lunch break. It's the Collector's Edition and it's staring at me, saying "install me, install me." I can't wait to get out of here.

Apparently this title is also out for the iPhone - I'm reasonably curious about how well it transfers over to the iPhone platform.
