Hi everyone, newbie here!

I've just bought my first Mac, just a cheap one to get me started, its a G4 PowerMac dual optical, 867mhz dual cpu, 512mb ram running Tiger. Everything runs fine except for Photoshop (CS2), the splash screen comes up then it just says its quit unexpectidley, anyone come across this problem? When I am watching videos I have red and green lines in it so I'm thinking the graphics card is on its way out, could this also be the cause of the Photoshop problem?

Any help greatly appreciated, Rob.

Your computer seems to meet the requirements as far as CPU and RAM, so it could very well be the graphics card or maybe just video settings - are you running 1024×768 resolution or higher in millions of colors mode?

There is no system but GNU and Linux is one of its kernels.

Thanks for the reply kahlil88, I tried another graphics card and it was the same, after hours of messing around i got it sorted by deleting the PS plist file! Stoopid thing
