I am fiddling around with Automator and trying trying to write two plugins.

1) An Automator action that will select a folder on the desktop, scan it for songs, add them to itunes and then delete the folder.

2) An Automator action to regularly clean out my downloads folder by deleting files that haven't been used in over 7 days.

Anyone know how to do this, have a script or a sample Automator action that I can look at?
QUOTE Thanks

Have you run Automator and looked at the included workflows there - sometimes u can use what is there or find more specific ones on line.
