itunes broken: error -600

Hi,

This morning I tried to open itunes. I got the spinning icon and had to force quit. I still can't open it and I get error -600 if I try to launch music from the finder. I dowloaded it again but when reinstalling, and choosing hard drive as volume, nothing happens. Any ideas?
