OSX Mail- Issues

If i compose a message in MAIL.app and sending , it doesnt show in the SENT folder nor reaches destination. I have tried several accounts ( me.com & gmail.com) same problem. ! any idea how to fix this? |

my me.com account receives messages ok, but does not send. my gmail doesnt work in either direction |
