can i delete a partition on my hard disk?

i have a partition on my hard drive that i made with boot camp to run vista. well vista blue screened and it cant load that OS anymore (its been like 2 months)

so im wondering if i can just delete the entire vista partition?

if so how do i do it.

aluminum Macbook 13" 2.0 Ghz 2GB ram, Leopard, all that

Mac Specs: 27" iMac i5, 3.2 GHz, iPad 3, iPhone 5c, 3 iPods, OS X Mavericks

Run the Boot Camp assistant. Select create partition -> restore. Reply OK.

Reboot. The BC partition and whatever was left over from Vista should be gone. Disk space should be returned to OS X.
